This summer all graduating seniors from Hawaii high schools are invited to participate in a free online career planning course with Test Drive Your Future.

Waimea authors Jim and Beth Hood want to help students choose a career path with confidence, clarity, and purpose. The course’s goal is to help students “make the most of their 72,000 hours” — the number of hours that the average American works throughout the course of his or her life.

Free access to the Test Drive Experience includes a four week, interactive, online course. The Test Drive Experience is based on the Hoods’ book: Test Drive Your Future: Your Step by Step Guide to Choosing the Perfect Career. The online course includes 10 core lessons, based on the step-by-step career choice process from the book, and an interactive forum where participants will be able to ask questions, post comments, or host discussions, among other features.

Students who participate in the Test Drive Experience will be given a chance to win a $500 scholarship to be applied toward college or trade school tuition. Visit www.testdriveyourfuture.com.
